Finally got to watch the Smallville series finale. Typical of E4 here in the UK, in that the showed the finale over 2 weeks, which created an unnecessary break and interrupted the flow. Which would have been fine if I hadn't watched the 1st part last week.
My overall impressions was it could have gone out with more of a bang and upped the action scenes more. Though with saying that, the end flashbacks, gaining his last ability, the suit, supes in action and the last few minutes made it all worthwhile.
The only question left is why leave it there? They should have been allowed to continue into films, as i would imagine that in number of peoples eyes Tom Welling and Erica Durance are Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane.
I can honestly say I will miss this show and live in hope that something set within this universe comes on to TV.
