Comic Book Day

It's new comic day tomorrow/today for me on Saturday.
Off to LCS in Southend-on-Sea, Ace Comics  to pick up latest issues and then off to civilised reading at the Bacchus  restaurant for food and tea.

Just wish the 2 places where 1 and then I would have geek paradise

Smallville

Finally got to watch the Smallville series finale. Typical of E4 here in the UK, in that the showed the finale over 2 weeks, which created an unnecessary break and interrupted the flow. Which would have been fine if I hadn't watched the 1st part last week.

Start of the cons

Well survived the first London Super Comic Con. Did both the Saturday and Sunday and as it was my birthday just after the weekend, my wife was very kind and got me a VIP tier 3 pass for Saturday :)

What this meant was I got to attend a meet and greet session that evening with the Legendary Stan Lee.

An amazing present, that topped off a great day. Got to meet people that I seem to meet at these events, plus got some comics signed and a couple of sketches.

Mark Buckingham was a true gent, so very polite and did a great sketch for my wife.
